David Horowitz

CO-FOUNDER, RETIRED

David co-founded Harvey & Horowitz, P.C., Certified Public Accountants in 1986. He had previously been a Tax Partner in the Hartford office of the national accounting firm of Touche Ross, LLC.

David served a variety of clients in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, real estate development, retail, wholesale and service businesses, as well as extensive trust and high income individual income tax compliance, IRS representation, and planning services.

David testified as an expert witness in numerous litigation cases heard in the Hartford District of the State of Connecticut Superior Court.

David’s professional experience working with all types of management teams, from individual business proprietors to formal boards of directors, both profit and non-profit organizations, made him a valuable independent team member of any organization. David served as trustee/advisor for many family owned businesses and related client groups.

David resides in West Hartford, Connecticut, and received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1972, Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford in 1979. We certainly wish him the best in retirement!
